Excellent questions. I need to do a bit of pondering. Off the top of my head I would say I’ve become enslaved to blogging. It’s taking over my life! What have I narrowly escaped? Hmm. Today I narrowly escaped spending the day looking for some income tax info for my overachieving misplacer PhD hubby. He ACTUALLY found it himself. Yay!!!!

Anyone have a good scratch recipe for matzoh?

My Egypt: a sense that there’s never enough time.
I narrowly escape by remembering the things that actually matter–which are timeless.

Thanks Kimmi. Happy holidays from this Shiksa.

  3. Jas! Thanks for sharing your Egypt! I think anything that takes over your life constitutes as a form of imprisonment! And that’s awesome news about your husband! Yay is right! When you say matzoh, do you mean matzoh brie?

Courtney, I hear you about time. I will say that time is one of those things that can expand or contract depending on how we’re feeling it or looking at it. And I agree that remembering what really matters helps us put our anxiety and feelings of entrapment into perspective. Thanks for sharing! And thanks for wishing me a happy holiday!
