It is my pleasure to introduce Crucial Minutiae’s guest blogger for the month of March, Elz Cuya. Elz left her beloved city of San Francisco to join Hip Hop Theater Festival headquarters in New York as the External Affairs Director. She is also the founder of the Poetry Mission in San Francisco, the celebrated Mission District-based literary community that presents poetry, performance art and music. Elz currently lives in Bushwick, hella propagating words like “hella,” and facilitates a bi-monthly creative writing workshop in Bed-Stuy. Plus she’s one of the coolest people I’ve ever met.
